General Trias, Cavite – February 11, 2025
The Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) senatorial campaign officially kicked off today in General Trias, Cavite, with Capt. Relly N. Jose Jr. meeting with supporters despite intermittent rain showers. The event was attended by a passionate crowd who braved the weather to show their strong support for Capt. Relly’s candidacy.
A veteran mariner and staunch advocate for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), seafarers, and the aviation industry, Capt. Relly took time to engage with his supporters, listening to their concerns and sharing his vision for a better future for Filipino workers at sea and abroad.
"This campaign is not just for me—it’s for every hardworking Filipino, especially our OFWs and seafarers who dedicate their lives to providing for their families and strengthening our economy. Rain or shine, we will keep fighting for their rights and well-being," Capt. Relly said during the event.
Joining him at the campaign kickoff was Richard M. Nicolas, National Executive Director of KBL, who expressed the party’s commitment to progressive governance, digital transformation, and economic empowerment.
With the campaign now officially underway, Capt. Relly and the KBL team are set to visit more communities in the coming weeks to listen to the people, discuss his platform, and rally support for the upcoming elections.
